Terms of Service
Service Description
Slice provides selective, read-only external sharing for Notion databases. Users create filtered, controlled views (e.g. selected columns, filters, themes) and can revoke or set expiration on share links at any time, without exposing their entire workspace.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Slice only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms:
- Comply with Notion's terms of service and API usage guidelines
- Respect intellectual property rights and privacy of others
- Not attempt to circumvent security measures or access unauthorized data
- Not use the service for spam, harassment, or illegal activities
- Not exceed reasonable API usage limits or attempt to overload our systems
Data & Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using Slice, you consent to this data processing.
OAuth Token Management
Slice uses OAuth 2.0 to securely access your Notion workspace. We:
- Store access tokens encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
- Honor token revocation requests from Notion
- Automatically remove expired or invalid tokens
- Never store your Notion password
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect service availability.
Uptime disclaimer: While we aim for 99%+ uptime, we cannot guarantee 100% availability. Service may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability
Slice is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our service, including data loss or service interruptions.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Slice after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
