Data Collection & Storage
Slice collects minimal data necessary to provide selective sharing functionality for Notion databases. Slice does not store your Notion page content or database records directly. Slice only stores the configuration data required to create secure share views (for example: selected columns, filters, theme preferences, share settings).
- OAuth Tokens: Encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. We never store your Notion password.
- Share Configurations: Database IDs, column selections, filters, and theme preferences.
- Usage Analytics: Basic metrics to improve service performance.
Share Link Controls
Users can revoke, regenerate, or set expiration dates for public share links from the Slice dashboard. Expired or revoked links immediately stop working.
Data Security
All Notion access tokens are encrypted using industry-standard encryption before storage. We honor token revocation requests from Notion and automatically remove access when tokens expire.
Data Deletion
You can request complete data deletion at any time:
- Use the "Delete my data" button in your dashboard
- Email us at sliceapp.notion@gmail.com with your deletion request
- All associated data will be permanently removed within 72 hours
Quick deletion: Visit Dashboard → Delete my data, or email sliceapp.notion@gmail.com; we delete within 72 hours.
Third-Party Services
We use Supabase for secure data storage and Vercel for hosting. Both services maintain SOC 2 compliance and implement industry-standard security measures.
