Security

Data Protection

Slice takes security seriously. All Notion access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and stored securely in our database. Slice does not store your Notion page content or database records directly; we only store configuration data needed to create secure share views and access data when you create or view shares.

OAuth Security

We use OAuth 2.0 with PKCE for secure authentication with Notion. Your credentials are never stored or transmitted in plain text. We only request the minimum permissions needed to read your databases and pages.

Data Access

Slice uses read-only access to the specific databases and pages you authorize. We only access the databases and properties you explicitly choose to share and never access your private Notion content unless you explicitly create a share for it.

Users can revoke or expire public share links at any time from the Slice dashboard. Revoked or expired links immediately disable public access.

Data Retention

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. When you delete your account, all stored tokens and share configurations are permanently removed from our systems.
